The hell is FOX has integrity! They're republican coke as much as CNN is for democrats! U.S. mass media is crap all around the board - if you want decent news these days, read the BBC or a newspaper for crying out loud. Out of all the slanted, one-sided "news" sources in the bucket, FOX is the one you have to scrape off the bottom. When the shows you watch have to remind you over and over and OVER again that we're "Fair and Balanced," they might be having some confidence issues? Fox even beats CNN and do you know why? Because they are the only channel that leans to the right. They might not always have the best news, but at least they are not sucking up to the liberal secular-progressive democrats, like CBS and NBC. People like Fox News so much because they have values and at least attempt to look like they know what they are talking about. I just watched NBC recently, their top story, why the democrats are going to win the election, FOX's top story, the bombings in the Middle East. Hmm....which one seems more reliable. You may not like Fox because they are traditionalists with values, while the other news stations try to be politically correct and attack our nation with their leftest secular-progressive news, but it deserves some credit for being the only news station to lean to the right.

I think each and every one of you seems to have missed the point of the video. This just in: all of the news stations do this regularly. FOX and CNN both do it, and so does every other news station out there. You can say what you want, but it still comes down to large news stations alienating entire groups of people (punditry) and throwing crap at us that prevents us from seeing the important stuff ("mindless ballyhoo" as this video called it). When Anna Nicole Smith died, I saw at least one instance per major news station where they cut away from a major story and started going on about this story that, in reality, wasn't news. She was a celebrity, those people tend to die a little early. CNN even had an anchor at one point talk about how there would be no more interruptions for that particular story, followed by them cutting away to it eight seconds later. FOX did a similar thing, though I can't remember it off the top of my head. All the stations are biased, and most tend to report nonsense nowadays. Probably the only station I've seen focused recently is C-SPAN.

Let's make it simple. CNN, FOX, MSNBC, etc. all suck. There are only two television news shows that I'll watch, Daily Show and Colbert Report. For Comedy shows they actually have news on their shows, as opposed to the "real" news channels, which thoght Anna Nicole Smith was more important for 4 months than any other story.

CNN is the only legimate american news network, BBC, and RTC are good European networks and Al Jazzera is a very good news network. To get a decent perspective CNN, BBC and Al Jazzera are very good representitives. RTC is very neutral but difficult to get.

Fox news will give you the facts, analyze the facts, then form an oppinion and debate people with a different oppinion, there is nothng bias about it. Think about that.

I'm only 13 and I don't know much about news but I know there's a war going on and the news stations only focus on "who the baby's daddy is." As far as the FOX - CNN deal goes, I agree with the guy above me a couple of comments. The BBC is way better than both of those stations. Or read the newspaper. That seems to be better at focussing on issues that matter. Even the Wall Street Journal, even though it got bought out by the FOX guy, Murdock I think his name is. I come from a far left family and my dad reads The Wall Street Journal all the time, but I don't know if that means anything. I dunno. If you read this whole thing, please reply so I feel like people care about what I say. Uh, that's it.

Here's the funny part about FOX. They have been attacked by various fair media groups because they are unable to be fair and balanced. There was a study done that showed that those who watched The Daily Show got more information on whats really going on in the world then those who watched Bill O'Reilly. So yeah, FOX is basically a load of rupublican crap for those who want to be ignorant and arrogant of the world around them. Feel free to watch if you want Bush to be applauded for his foreign policy blunders along with everything else.

Okay, I'll tell you all something. Those of you who say "CNN is more balanced, FOX sucks" or "FOX is more balanced, CNN sucks", obviously don't watch both. If you watch both, you know that FOX leans way to the right, and CNN leans WAY to the left. I'd say that CNN is worse, but that doesn't mean much, since FOX is pretty bad. For those of you idiots who can't stand reading/seeing the other side's opinion, try it for once. It makes you more informed on the issues and actually helps you when debating because you know what they are thinking. You can't just say "FOX sucks" or "CNN sucks" if you never watch it. A great debater can analyze and debate both sides of an argument, and I guarantee most of you couldn't.

This is not the right place for a liberal/conservative debate. The point here is that all news has been completely thrown off course in the ratings race. If you ask me, news shouldn't be left or right-wing. We need a balance, we need to put aside party squabbles so we can get the news back in line. Although, i must add that "liberal" news is farther along in my opinion. At least what they report out of Iraq is true and usually unbiased. When FOX does a Middle East story, their correspondent creeps through an Afghan village looking like he's about to be shot at any moment, using the word "terror" in every sentence.
