I'm having problems with my username and password

PLEASE NOTE: If you became a JibJab member after July 15th, your login will not work in the JokeBox and Originals sections of the site, and you will be unable to reset your password there; your login and password reset will only work on the Sendables eCards pages. The below instructions apply only to the Sendables eCards section of the site.

If are unable to login, just follow the 'Don't know your Password' process by:

1. Clicking the "Login" link at the top of any page

2. Clicking the "Don't know your password?" link

You will then be guided through the password reset process.

I can't hear or see videos well

Here are some things that you can try that will likely fix the problem:

1. If you are not using either Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox, try using one of them.

2. Clear your browser's cache:

● In Internet Explorer 7, on the top toolbar, choose 'Tools' and then 'Internet Options'. Under the 'General' tab, choose 'Delete' from 'Browsing History', then choose 'Delete files'

● In Internet Explorer 6, on the top toolbar, choose 'Tools' and then 'Internet Options' in the dropdown menu. Under the 'General' tab, choose 'Delete Files'.

● In Mozilla Firefox, on the top toolbar, choose 'Tools', and then 'Options' in the dropdown menu. Click the 'Privacy' icon at the top, and then under the 'Cache' tab click the 'Clear Cache Now' button.

3. Clear your browser’s cookies:

● In Internet Explorer 7, on the top toolbar, choose 'Tools' and then 'Internet Options'. Under the 'General' tab, choose 'Delete' from 'Browsing History', then choose 'Delete cookies'

● In Internet Explorer 6, on the top toolbar, choose 'Tools' and then 'Internet Options' in the dropdown menu. Under the 'General' tab, choose 'Delete Cookies'.

● In Mozilla Firefox, on the top toolbar, choose 'Tools', and then 'Options' in the dropdown menu. Click the 'Privacy' icon at the top, and then under the 'Cookies' tab click the 'Clear Cookies Now' button.

4. Try the issue in both Firefox and IE 7 by downloading the latest versions at www.getfirefox.com and www.microsoft.com/windows/ie.

How do I stop getting emails from JibJab?

If you are a JibJab member and would like to stop receiving JibJab emails:

1. Click the "My Account" or “My JibJab” link in the upper right of any page.
2. Click the “Edit Email Settings” link
3. Uncheck the box under "Newsletter Preferences" and click the "Save Newsletter Preferences" button

If you are not a JibJab member there is an opt-out link at the bottom of every email. If you click this link, you will never receive any emails from us again. Back to Top

I'm unable to login or use some of the features in the JokeBox and Originals sections

Unfortunately, if you recently became a JibJab member, you won't be able to login to the JokeBox or Originals sections.

What are the fees and costs to use or join JibJab?

There are no fees or costs to become a JibJab member. However, in order to personalize and send some of our Sendables eCards, you will need to purchase a subscription.

With a subscription, you can:

How do I change my account information, such as my email address?

If you would like to change your account information, please follow these steps:

1. Click the "My Account" or “My JibJab” link in the upper right of any page.
2. Click the “Edit Email Settings” link
3. Enter your new email address and then click the "Save New Email Address" button Back to Top

How do I validate my account?

Once you register for a JibJab account, you will be sent an email will with a validation code. Click the link in the email and your account should then be fully validated.

If for some reason the link does not work, go to the page http://sendables.jibjab.com/user/validate and enter in your username and password and your account should then be fully validate.

I am having troubles sending a Sendables eCard

Here are some things that you can try that will likely fix the problem:

Why are some of the heads I cut missing?

In our move to our new website, we had some issues with some of the older, saved heads. We're working hard to retrieve them and they should be back in your account soon. Back to Top

How do delete heads that I no longer want?

While you currently can't delete a head you've upload and cut, there's no limit on how many you can have in your account, so there's no need to worry about reaching a storage limit. Back to Top

Can I download a Sendable video to my computer?

While you can't yet download a Sendable video to your computer, we're working hard to make this available to you, and hope to offer this ability soon. Back to Top

I just signed up for JibJab, but can't login to JokeBox

If you become a JibJab member after July 15th, your login info will *not* work in the JokeBox and Originals sections of the site. Your login will only work on the Sendables eCards pages.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are not refundable, so there is no reason to cancel them. However, you may discontinue the auto-renewal feature, which you can do by clicking the "My Account" link and then the "Manage Subscriptions" link.

Once you discontinue the auto-renew, you will still maintain the initial term of your subscription, but it will expire on the end date and your account will not be charged again.

Why aren't subscriptions refundable? If they were refundable, some not-so-nice people would subscribe when they needed to send a birthday eCard then immediately cancel their account.

I want to purchase a subscription, but don't want it to auto-renew

You can discontinue the the auto-renew feature once you subscribe. To do so, go through the subscription process. When you are done, click the "My Account" link and then the "Manage Subscriptions" link and the discontinue subscription auto-renew link will then be on that page. Back to Top

I canceled my auto-renew, but you still charged me for a subscription

Once you discontinue the auto-renew, you will still maintain the initial term of your subscription, but it will expire on the end date and your account will not be charged again. However, you will still be charged for the initial subscription term, as subscriptions are non-refundable.

What happened to my credits?

Instead of using credits to purchase Sendables eCards, you'll now use a Subscription.

If you ever purchased credits from us - either with your credit card or via PayPal - in the past, you've already automatically received a free subscription and can now personalize and send anything on the site, with no limits! This means you can send an unlimited number of Sendables eCards an unlimited number of times.

If you've only used the free credits we gave you, and never purchased any credits from us either with your credit card or via PayPal, you will not receive a free subscription. However, you can upgrade your account with a subscription - or learn more about subscriptions - by clicking the "Upgrade Account" link at the top of any page. Back to Top
